Your category sets the booking type automatically, but it helps to understand what each one does — it’s the difference between a smooth calendar and a stream of confused guests.
Date range (nights) — for Stays and Rentals. Guests choose a check-in and check-out; you price per night. Best for anything booked by the night or by the day.
Per person / slot — for Experiences, Wellness and Dining. Guests pick a date/time slot and a number of people; you price per person. Best for tours, classes, treatments and tables.
Per vehicle — for Transport. Guests book a vehicle for a slot or route; you price per vehicle rather than per seat.
Per item (date range) — for multi-unit rentals where each item is booked over a date range (e.g. a fleet of the same thing). Guests choose dates; availability is tracked per item.
