Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SriLankaX. These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and SriLankaX ("we", "us", "the platform"), which operates SriLankaX. By accessing the platform or making a reservation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What SriLankaX is

SriLankaX is a marketplace that connects guests with independent partners offering stays, experiences, transport, wellness, dining and rentals. We are not the provider of the stay, experience, transport or other service you reserve. The partner is solely responsible for delivering the service you book with them.

2. The reservation-fee model

When you make a reservation, you pay only a small reservation fee online. This fee secures your reservation with the partner. You settle the remaining balance directly with the partner at the destination. SriLankaX never holds partner funds and does not process the balance of your booking.

3. Making and confirming a reservation

  • You submit a reservation request through the platform and pay the reservation fee.
  • Depending on the listing, your reservation is confirmed instantly or once the partner accepts it within their confirmation window.
  • You will receive a confirmation with the reservation details, and the partner receives the full details to prepare for your visit.

4. Cancellations and refunds (summary)

  • The reservation fee is fully refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation.
  • After that 24-hour window, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
  • The underlying booking (the stay, experience or service itself) follows the partner's own cancellation policy, shown on each listing.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete details when you make a reservation, to use the platform lawfully, and to deal fairly and honestly with partners.

6. Partner responsibilities

Partners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for honouring confirmed reservations, and for delivering their services as described.

7. Limitation of liability

SriLankaX acts only as an intermediary between guests and partners. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of a partner's service, or for any loss arising from a partner's performance or non-performance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
